Mentorship Program

This program will select several disadvantaged BIPOC youth with basketball aspirations to sponsor and mentor. This sponsorship will be one year long, we will assist in basketball expenses, and provide extra resources to teach and improve their athletics, academics and finances.

The participant will be paired with a mentor, who will advise them athletically and connect them with academic and financial advisors. The mentor, participant and advisors will set academic, athletic and financial goals that the participant will be obligated to meet. The mentor will then create a schedule and provide resources for the participant to reach these goals.

The participants are young kids passionate about the game of basketball and are willing to do what it takes to chase their dreams. The Mentorship program will support these dreams by removing obstacles faced in terms of basketball and creating academic and financial foundations for the participant to fall back on if their dreams do not go as expected.

All participants will be challenged to improve athletically and academically and will begin a journey to understand and reach financial stability on and off the court.
